Hello! I’m Elizabeth, a general health psychologist.
I’ve always been driven by a deep curiosity about how we think, feel, and relate to one another. I consider myself empathetic, and an attentive listener with a touch of humor that helps me accompany others with warmth and genuine human connection.
My approach is based on the idea that we all try to adapt to our circumstances as best we can. Sometimes those circumstances are beyond our control, and the ways we adapt can unintentionally create suffering. Understanding this doesn’t mean justifying harm — it means recognizing that behind many behaviors are attempts to protect ourselves or restore balance. From this understanding comes the possibility to take responsibility and transform what causes pain.
I studied at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where I received my Degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Psychology. Later, I completed a Master’s in General Health Psychology at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, where I am currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology and collaborating as a researcher in the field of addictions.
Throughout my training, I specialized in addiction intervention, depression, anxiety, challenging life events, relational problems, and LGBTIQ+ support.
I also spent several years working in research, which allows me to integrate evidence-based methods while keeping in mind that every person is unique — techniques must adapt to the person, not the other way around.
I mainly use Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and other evidence-based approaches, tailored to each person’s needs and pace.
Both. I offer sessions at my office in Santiago de Compostela, as well as online sessions, which are equally effective and secure.
I support people with anxiety, depression, addictions, life transitions, relational challenges, and offer guidance for LGBTIQ+ individuals.
Each session costs €60, whether in person or online.
You can write or call me, and I’ll respond as soon as possible to schedule your first session or answer any questions.
Asking for help is already a courageous step. If you’re reading this, it means something inside you deserves attention. I’m here to support you—without judgment and at your own pace, with care and understanding.
